A homepage told in stops.
Scrollytelling is a page that tells its story in steps as you scroll, with the words and pictures changing along the way. Our home page uses it to answer an owner's questions in the order they come up.
Try a journey
Your week
The same information goes in twice, and every update needs a phone call.
Who we are
Started by someone who has been responsible for the work.
What we build
Automation, custom software and voice agents, each with its starting price.
How buying works
A Fit Call, a written scope, then a build to that scope.
A small version: four stops, a rail that fills as you scroll, and the same j and k keys the home page has.
What a journey is made of
- Chapters. They group the stops, and a bar at the top shows which chapter you are in.
- Stops. Each one is a card: a picture, a short heading, a few sentences and one or two links.
- A rail. A line fills as you scroll, with a marker that shows where you are.
- Routes. Buttons near the top let a visitor choose a route, and the stops that fit it are marked.
- A next-step button. One small button always points to the next stop.
Why a journey and not scroll effects
Scroll effects decorate. A journey organizes. A build check on this site fails if any public page has no stop on the home journey, so nothing sits three clicks deep.
The same pattern runs on our home page and on the Test Track.
How the motion behaves
- Reveals change opacity and position only, never layout.
- Jumps glide to the stop. For visitors who ask for less motion, they land directly.
- The hero video is skipped on phones, on slow connections, in data-saver mode and when reduced motion is on.
- Every stop has its own address, so a link can point to one card. See motion that earns its place.
Questions
Is a scrollytelling page bad for SEO?
It does not have to be. Our home page is server-rendered HTML with plain links, so search engines read every stop. The motion is added after the content.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The cards reflow to one column, and a bar at the bottom shows the step count, a button for the next stop and search.
Can visitors skip around?
Yes. The chapter map, the search and the j and k keys all jump to any stop, and every stop has its own address you can link to.
