1. Who We Are

Paddock20 is a custom software studio headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. We operate the website paddock20.com and all subdomains. References to "Paddock20," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to Paddock20.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically when you use our site.

Information you provide

• Name and email address submitted through contact forms
• Company name and project details shared during discovery or engagement
• Communications you send to [email protected] or via any contact channel
• Your email address, the kind of reader you are, and an optional note, if you join the Test Track crew (see Section 11)

Information collected automatically

• IP address and general geographic region (country, state)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, time on page, and referring URL
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and evaluate project fit
• Communicate about scope, proposals, and active engagements
• Send transactional emails related to your project or invoice
• Send the notes you ask for, such as the Test Track crew notes (see Section 11)
• Improve our website, content, and services
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business, including:

• Resend: email delivery, including notes to the Test Track crew
• Vercel: website hosting and infrastructure
• Cloudflare: DNS, security and delivery for our websites, and hosting and storage for the Test Track
• Stripe: payment processing (see their Privacy Policy)

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and inquiry records for up to 3 years unless you request deletion sooner. Invoice and payment records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax law. Test Track crew profiles are kept until you ask us to delete them. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to analyze traffic and improve performance. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies that hold a random identifier so visits from the same browser can be counted together. Five related websites (paddock20.com, paddockgavin.com, pistonpoweredranch.com, supercariq.com and gavinbrookshq.com) report to the same Google Analytics property, and a link from one of them to another carries that identifier, so a visit that moves between them is counted as one visit. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect the functionality of some features. We do not use cookies for advertising, and they do not follow you to anyone else's site. We also count visits to our websites, including the Test Track, with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage to collect them. A click on the WillerTime link from the Test Track, or from gavinbrookshq.com, is also counted by PaddockGavin's traffic counter. That count sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser; it keeps a daily one-way code of your network address and browser, and the country and city your network reports. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Test Track also remembers a few display choices, such as whether the dashboard is collapsed, in your browser's local storage on your own device.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure third-party infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. The Test Track Crew

The Paddock20 Test Track (test-track.paddock20.com) is our proving ground. Everything on it is open to read, and you do not need to share anything to use it. This section covers what we do with what you give us if you choose to join the crew.

What we collect

• Your email address
• The kind of reader you are, if you pick one: a business with vans or a fleet, someone deciding on an EV, a gig driver, someone who serves EV owners or hosts events, or someone following along
• A short note, if you leave one (up to 280 characters)
• A short tag for how you joined (such as the crew sign-up or a link we shared), and the dates we created, confirmed and last changed your profile and sent you notes

We do not keep your IP address or browser details with your profile. Short-lived counters that limit abuse expire within a day.

What we do with it

• Send you one note asking you to confirm your address, and nothing else until you do. Once you confirm, send one welcome note with your next step on the Test Track
• Reply when you write to us
• Once you confirm, send the notes you joined for, such as each week's numbers from the car and a note when a new case opens
• Once you confirm, email ourselves a notice when your profile includes a note, or comes from a business with a fleet or from someone who serves EV owners, so we can reply

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. If you did not ask to join, ignore the confirm note: we send nothing else, and nothing goes on our mailing list, until you confirm. Every note after that includes a way to unsubscribe.

Where it lives and who handles it

Your profile is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the Test Track. Our notes are sent through Resend. When you confirm your address, Resend also holds it as a contact on our mailing list. Each handles your information only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it, and how to leave

We keep your profile until you ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the option in any note after you confirm, or write to [email protected] to unsubscribe or have your profile deleted. We act on those requests within 30 days.
