Paddock20 was founded by Gavin Brooks, who started in wireless in 2002 and spent two decades running operations across wireless, delivery, automotive, and enterprise sales: director of business development and strategy at one of the largest authorized wireless retailers, a delivery fleet of his own, then lot operations for an exotic and luxury automotive retailer and wholesaler. The software that existed never quite fit the operations he was running, so he started building it himself.
The first app he built tracked $125 million a month in vehicles at its peak.
