How it works
What happens on a call.
The call is answered
The agent picks up, says who it is for and asks what the caller needs.
The details are taken
Name, number, what the call is about and the questions you would ask yourself.
The next step happens
An appointment is booked where your calendar allows. Otherwise the call is transferred to a person, a message is taken or a callback is booked.
The call is on record
A transcript and a summary go to your CRM or inbox, so nobody starts the callback cold.
Who it fits
Businesses that miss calls on busy days.
- Dental offices
- Med spas
- Home services
The calls that go unanswered are the ones that come in while you are with another customer, on a job or on another line. If you only need a text sent after a missed call, missed-call text-back is the smaller step.
Hear one
Amy answers our own line.
Amy is Paddock20’s own receptionist. She is set up for our business, not yours. Call to hear how an agent sounds. You can ask her about the Fit Call or book a time.
The written scope
What the written scope covers.
Your scope sets out each of these before the work starts.
What it connects
Your existing phone number through call forwarding, your calendar and the CRM or inbox where the call details should land.
What the agent says
The voice, the greeting and every conversation path, mapped with you and tested before the number routes to it.
When it cannot answer
The fallback you choose: transfer to a person, take a message or book a callback. Call recording notice wording is set here too.
What it leaves out
Third-party costs, minutes beyond the plan, what happens when the phone or calendar service is down, and anything outside the agreed scope.
Questions
Questions people ask first.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. We configure the agent to work with your existing number. Call forwarding sends calls to it on your terms: all calls, or only the ones you do not pick up.
Does it replace the person who answers the phone?
It covers the calls nobody can take, such as busy days, a call on another line or a crew on a job. Calls that need a person can be transferred to one.
What happens if the agent cannot answer something?
You choose the fallback before go-live: transfer to a live person, take a message or book a callback.
How long does it take?
Deployment and live testing take 10 business days. Real calls are tested before your number routes to the agent.
What does it cost?
Pricing for deployment and monthly care plans is on the voice agents page. The scope and price for your business follow a Fit Call. The $249 counts toward your build when you sign the written scope within 30 days.
